Golf, tennis and an air steering wheel

Three new ways to play and four more cricket games. Every new game is Experimental for now: tell us how it plays.

New games

Better

  • Real Boxing 2: calibrate your own guard and punches. RIFT throws the same punch with the same arm, and only the moves you calibrated count.
  • Golf: play with a controller phone as the club, or with just your hands. Set how hard a full-power swing is in the controls.
  • Tennis: a controller phone is your racket. Swing across your body to go cross-court, chop down to slice, tap its pad to serve.
  • Asphalt 8: the air steering wheel. Both fists in front of your chest, turn to steer, drop a hand to drift.
  • Cricket: better shot reading when you bat with a controller phone.

Good to know

  • The seven new games haven't been played start to finish yet. Moves may be missed, and some on-screen positions are estimates you can move in the controls editor.
  • 3D Tennis needs a controller phone. Golf Battle works with a phone or your hands.
0.1 beta

The first public beta

Five games tested start to finish and tuned by hand, plus more marked Experimental.

Games

In this release

  • Controller phones: use a second phone as a cricket bat or a Fruit Ninja blade, or two phones as Beat Swiper's sabers.
  • Jumps: taller but slower hops count, like the ones you do mid-game.
  • In-game light: big words you can read from across the room. Green is ready, amber means adjust, red means something's in the way.
  • Battery: tracking stops when you swipe RIFT away, or after 3 minutes without a game in front.

Good to know

  • Experimental games are mapped but not tested start to finish yet.
