Cricket · on the finale stage

A CTO steps up.

Vishal Kuchanur, CTO of Varaha, takes the phone and bats. The first ball is a wide. On the next he swings, and the game plays the shot.

Watch forThe green readout at the top of the stage screen. That's RIFT, live: OFF 54% sent as he swings.

  • 60,000+signed up for the hackathon
  • 50teams made the grand finale
  • 1stplace in the student track

Don't take
our word for it.

These are the organisers' own posts. We competed as Team SKAY, led by Vince D'souza.

Three more takes.
Zero cuts.

Each clip is one take from the finale stage, in real time. The green text on the stage screen is RIFT's own readout of what it saw and sent; each clip zooms in on it, on the right.

Proof 02 · Subway Surfers

Jump. Duck. Lean.

Govind steps up for 35 seconds. RIFT spots the game and calibrates in under 2 seconds, then reads every jump, roll and lane change as he makes it.

Watch forJUMP, LEFT, RIGHT and ROLL on the readout as he moves, then sent when the touch reaches the game.

Proof 03 · Fruit Ninja

Sliced with a stick.

No controller, no wearable. Vince picked up a random stick and sliced with it. It still works.

Watch forsent flashing on the readout with every slice, while the score climbs.

Proof 04 · Cricket

Bat with a phone.

Sohan, from our team, swings a phone like a bat. Two balls, two shots: a loft, then one through the off side.

Watch forLOFT, then OFF 80%, on the readout as he swings. That's RIFT telling the game which shot to play.
